Welcome to The Sunday Lunch Podcast for Family Businesses

The Sunday Lunch Podcast is about honest conversations on family business, leadership and relationships — because the most important business conversations rarely happen in the boardroom.

Hosted by Mike Overwater and Lisa Clausen from ekoYOU.

Available on Spotify and anywhere you you like to get your podcasts, we'd love you to follow us to stay up to speed with the latest episodes as they land.

When Something Needs To Change & You Notice First

If you've ever found yourself lying awake wondering whether you're overthinking things, whether you should speak up, or whether you're the only one seeing what you can see, this episode is for you.

In this episode, Lisa and Mike explore what it feels like to be the person who notices first, why that role can be so lonely, and why awareness doesn't always arrive at the same time for everyone.

Sometimes the most important thing you can do isn't solve the problem.

It's simply begin the conversation.

The Year Everything Fell Apart (And What It Taught Us)

In this episode, Lisa and Mike share the real story behind the Abundance in Business Methodâ„¢ and the challenges that inspired it. They reflect on a time when both their business and relationship were under pressure, the conversation that changed everything, and how the simple framework of ME, US and BUSINESS emerged from their own experience.

If you've ever felt like something isn't quite right in your business, this episode will help you understand where to start looking.

Because healthy people and healthy partnerships create healthy businesses.

Why did we start The Sunday Lunch Podcast?

Welcome to the very first episode of The Sunday Lunch Podcast!  Thanks for being here.

In this opening conversation, Mike and Lisa share why they created this podcast and the journey that brought them here.

Between them, they've spent most of their lives in and around family businesses. Grown up in them, worked in them, led them and, at times, survived them. Along the way they've learned that while family business can be incredibly rewarding, it can also bring unique challenges because business, family and relationships are so closely connected.
